Kharmalina is a pre-physician assistant (PA) student planning to attend PA school in 2025. Her diverse experiences-from serving as a peer advocate and working in pain management and urgent care, to her role as a software engineer at a Fortune 500 company-have guided her journey back to the mental health field as a TMS Technician. Recognizing the importance of mental health in her own life, Kharmalina is driven to approach patient care with empathy and kindness, aspiring to become a holistic and compassionate PA.
In her free time, Kharmalina enjoys playing billiards and volunteers at the Crisis Text Line. A fun fact about Kharmalina—she once competed in a national billiards tournament!
