I am in treatment at Fermata now and will continue because of many reasons. I met Carlene McMillan over 10 years ago. She was the first Dr that asked me what kinds of things do I like to do. There I was back in the hospital dealing with my serious suicidal tendencies. I was struck when she asked me this question because it was the perfect question. She was genuine in her way as I told her my interests that I kept alive through many years of struggle. In all my years in and out of the broken healthcare system(in my opinion) no doc could see the positive and the seriousness of my situation at the same time. Compassion and smarts! On the advice and with consultation of Dr. Muir, my 19 year old son received intensive deep TMS treatment for his crushing depression, anxiety and OCD. We are currently in the 4th day of his treatment and the results have been life changing. For the first time my son can remember he is not having daily suicidal ideation.
